This group is open to anyone whose life is affected by Huntington's Disease (HD). People with HD, family members, caregivers, friends, and people living at risk are all welcome to attend.
• Audience: People living with dementia and their caregiver. A brief interview is required before participating.
• Description: Our Early Stage Support Group is a beacon for those navigating the early stages of Alzheimer's or dementia. It's a safe space to share, learn, and find companionship with others who truly understand. Discover strategies to manage changes and embrace life with new friends by your side. This program is for both people living with the disease and their caregivers.
This class and its materials are specific for you, the parent or caregiver of a child with any type of special need/challenge (i.e., mental health, developmental disability, medical, physical, substance use disorder, special education). Your challenges are unique. Self-care can be easy to neglect and difficult to establish. Powerful Tools Workshops are designed for YOU, the caregiver, to balance and prioritize self-care!

A Dementia Champion is a person who is able to provide Dementia Friends Information Sessions to the community. They are a volunteer who goes through training and is able to make a positive difference on people living with dementia in their community
