Senior Training to Re-enter the Workforce

For those of us who are looking for opportunities to re-enter the workforce, the Senior Community Service Employment Program provides training and placement in Host Agency sites for low-income seniors 55 and over.

Experience Works trains and helps participants gain work experience in a variety of community service skills in non-profit or public agencies, including:

  • Schools
  • Hospitals
  • Day-care centers
  • Senior centers

Participants work an average of 20 hours a week. This training serves as a bridge to employment opportunities, which Experience Works helps the participant achieve.
