• Audience: People living with dementia and their caregiver. A brief interview is required before participating.
• Description: Our Early Stage Support Group is a beacon for those navigating the early stages of Alzheimer's or dementia. It's a safe space to share, learn, and find companionship with others who truly understand. Discover strategies to manage changes and embrace life with new friends by your side. This program is for both people living with the disease and their caregivers.
Each training is made up of six (6) virtual – or web-based – sessions over three (3) weeks. Each session is three (3) hours. Attendees will need a good internet connection and a web-camera because each training is interactive. That means that attendees learn from the trainers and each other in large group discussions but also in smaller break-out groups. Attendees need to complete all sessions to receive a completion certificate for 18 hours of training
